Day 1: Two Lines
Everyone is going to die someday, and when they die, they will go to one of two places: heaven or hell. If you have given your life to God and received forgiveness, you have an assurance that—after you die—you will be with Him in heaven. Your name is written in the book of life!
But so many people you know don’t have that assurance, and Revelation 20:15 says that they’ll be thrown into the “lake of fire.” People you know and interact with every day—your brother or aunt, your boss, or your childhood friend—could have no idea that they’re headed toward an eternity in hell.
If you’re a Christian, you know the way to heaven! What do you think your unsaved friends would say if they found out you didn’t do anything to stop them from going to hell?
Sharing your story can be scary, but 1 Peter 3:15 says that we always need to be ready to give a defense for the hope that is in us. There is a world of people who are headed toward eternal separation from God, and we have a responsibility to tell them.
Today’s challenge is to:
1. Write down the names of three people that need God.
2. Pray for those people, that they would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
3. Text the word ‘SHARE’ to 52525 and follow the prompts on your phone.
