How to prepare for your God-opportunity
What were we made for?
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10 that we were “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
God prepared good works for us to do even before we existed! And those plans are plans of “peace and not of evil, to give (us) a future and a hope,” according to Jeremiah 29:11.
How do we prepare for our purpose?
2 Timothy 2:4 says to “preach the word” and to “be ready in season and out of season.”
God’s plans to use our lives may be hidden, but the unique design that He has given each of us is not. As we contemplate our design, we are able to catch a glimpse of the plan God has to use our lives through the eyes of our faith.
Ask yourself: What can I do today to prepare for God to use me tomorrow? Be diligent in the little things, and be faithful when nobody is looking.
