Definition of a Kingdom Warrior
Miles McPherson and Rock Church are currently in the middle of an original message series titled Kingdom Warrior. Through that series, we’re encouraged to not only speak of God’s kingdom, but also adopt the identity of kingdom warriors, demonstrating the principles of God’s kingdom with our lives.
“…make sure you live it first, amen?”
In the spiritual realm, there are 2 kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil. Those 2 kingdoms are at war.
A warrior is a fierce, relentless, trained fighter. A Kingdom Warrior declares and demonstrates God’s Kingdom, and destroys the works of the devil.
You declare the Kingdom of God when you demonstrate it by the power of God in and through your life. That simple act is more important than declaring it! After all, if you cannot demonstrate the Kingdom of God through your life, you have no place declaring it.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Do I declare the Kingdom of God, telling and teaching others about it?
- Do I demonstrate the Kingdom of God, exhibiting Kingdom-of-God principles such as self-control and patience?
If you answered “no” to either of those questions, ask God to help you change. Pray that He would allow you to step into your calling to become a warrior, boldly declaring and demonstrating God’s Kingdom to others.
